Raum Grounding Shoes

These are my daily shoes when it is too cold for my barefoot grounding sandals. Raum shoes are handmade in Turkey by artisans who make a living wage. They are adorable, comfortable, and sustainable. The durable sole is made from water buffalo hide with zero drop (flat sole – no heel). The sole is slightly porous absorbing moisture from your feet and from the Earth to better connect your electrically to the Earth. The shoe is hand stitched with waxed cotton thread. The soft leather upper is lined with soft sheepskin which feels great on bare feet. The shoes will mold to your feet and cuddle them. There are several styles for women and several styles for men. These are not fast fashion shoes. You will get to enjoy these slow fashion shoes for a good long while with gentle simple care.
