Fight gravity by lying inverted – head below heart. Upside Down a little or a lot!
Inversions are done in yoga and many other movement forms. An inversion table allows you to rest in your anti-gravity state rather than working for it. Zoa’s Innova Heavy Duty Inversion Table can hold you at a very slight inversion or fully upside down. Your choice. Your personal setting (of 6 angle choices).
Back Pain & Muscle Tension
Inversion offers gentle traction which is a common technique to reduce back pain. It allows a gentle spinal stretch, opening up the joints between spinal vertebrae to take off pressure gravity and being upright put on your nerves and disks in your back.
An inversion session encourages a release of tension in your hips, knees, ankles, and spine. Sciatic pain can be reduced through the decompression an inversion session provides. Sometimes that tension pulls your joints out of alignment and a short inversion session realigns you.
A supervised intro session is required prior to independent usage of the inversion table. We will determine the settings that match your body. Under Zoa’s watchful eye, you will slowly invert till we find your comfort level and maximum amount of inversion. We will determine whether you would benefit from a spotter for your future sessions or not.
Inversion table usage is limited to 3 minutes at a time with a 3 minute minimum break between sessions.
There is no dangling from your toenails here! You are in complete control of how far you tip and coming up slowly.
Inversions are safe for many but not necessarily for those with glaucoma, heart disease, or high blood pressure. A few minutes of inverting and your heartbeat slows, your blood pressure in your upper body and head increases, and pressure within your eyes also rises. Doctor approval may be requested prior to use.
The Innova Inversion Table is rated for people with heights between 4 ft 10 inches and 6 ft 6 inches and weights up to 300 lbs.
